Mara Jenkins


Mara knows that access to relevant, reliable information makes us better skin care professionals, achieving better results for our clients. Her mission is to elevate the professional skin care industry for all its practitioners and business owners through quality continued education.

Mara is a global educator, product formulator, business coach, and internationally accredited CIDESCO certified medical aesthetician with over a decade of experience specializing in advanced skin care. She has trained over 5000 skin care professionals and designed and delivered education for 11 professional skin care brands in over 20 countries.

When she’s not busy developing the next lesson for Skin Care Lit, you can find Mara drinking her favourite Okanagan wine and listening to a true-crime podcast with her corgi puppy Twiggs by her side.

Marie Adamo

Marie is a writer, editor, and communication specialist with a BA in English Literature, a diploma in Publishing, and over a decade of experience in the professional skin care industry. Through her time managing spas, coaching and training estheticians, and working for professional skin care brands in sales and business development, she knows the industry inside and out.
