About Mara

Mara is a global educator and business coach, but first and foremost, she is an internationally accredited CIDESCO certified medical aesthetician who has specialized in advanced skin care for the last 15 years. 

As the Founder & Lead Educator of Skin Care Literature, Mara's mission is to create a stronger professional skin care industry for all of it's practitioners and business owners through continued education.

Mara has personally trained over 5000 aestheticians, physicians, RNs, and laser technicians around the world in advanced skin therapies, business strategy and sales. She is now taking the insight she learned from working with her fellow skin care professionals and using it to deliver education on a global level once again with Skin Care Literature.

Working with some of the industry's most respected brands, Mara has launched training initiatives in over 20 countries. Prior to launching Skin Care Literature, her proudest achievements include leading a team of 35 international trainers while launching two post graduate training academies in London and Birmingham, UK, and her success as Business Development and Education Manager for HydraFacial's Western Canada territory. Mara has designed and delivered education for 11 professional brands to date.
