ABOUT MARA

Mara is a global educator, business coach, and internationally accredited CIDESCO certified medical aesthetician with over a decade of experience specializing in advanced skin care. She has trained over 5000 aestheticians, laser technicians, skin therapists, physicians and RNs, as well as designed and delivered education for 11 professional skin care brands in over 20 countries. Hydrafacial, Elemis, Eminence Organic Skin Care, and ZO Skin Health are just a few of the industry leaders she’s educated for. 

“My experience in the world of professional skin care has taught me that confidence is the result of being reliably informed. But even the biggest education devotees only retain about 20% of the knowledge they get from expensive seminars and time-consuming training sessions. I created the Skin Care Lit membership with the goal of making education effective and accessible to any licensed professional who wants to specialize in skin.” 

Mara knows that access to relevant, reliable information at our fingertips makes us better skin care professionals, achieving better results for our clients. Her mission is to create a stronger professional skin care industry for all its practitioners and business owners through continued education.
